Identifying emotions

Many neurodivergent people, especially autistics and including me, struggle with alexithymia, the inability to name or recognise emotions. This does not mean that we don’t experience emotions! It means that we struggle to know what emotions we are feeling right now, to label them correctly, to show them in our body language in the same way that allistics do.
